She was effective with helping to identify the problems and selling opportunities and set clear expectations for results.

In 2006  I placed Sherilyn in charge of a group of team members who were quite disgruntled.  Sherilyn used her business acumen to measure the situation and proceed with managerial courage.  She set clear expectations, communicated them constantly, and measured people in a fair, yet direct, manner.  She communicated, in writing, to her team consistently (evaluations, trip reports, monthly reports, etc.).  This communication started the bond that grew into her team.

Sherilyn saw promise with her team and “loosened the reins” a little to allow them all to compete amongst each other and the results were spectacular.  Sherilyn called her team “The Producers” because that is exactly what they became!
